AFM Hot Project: Rosamund Pike to Star in Body Horror ‘Feed’

Rosamund Pike will star in and produce *Feed*, a body horror film directed by Leslye Headland. The story follows a mother who turns to a collagen supplement to help make her tween gymnast daughter an influencer, but the girl begins a monstrous transformation as her fame grows. The project uses horror to explore social media, self-improvement and pressures around motherhood.

Daniella Isaacs wrote the script, inspired by the Finnish horror film *Hatching* (2022). Pike’s production company Primitive Streak is among the producers, and ZQ Entertainment financed the script’s development. The Veterans is presenting the project to buyers at the American Film Market and handling international sales, while CAA Media Finance handles US rights. The article notes a potential commercial comparison with *The Substance*, which grossed more than $77 million worldwide.
