Sylvester Stallone’s R-Rated Action Thriller Officially Gets a Second Chance on Prime Video

Sylvester Stallone’s action thriller *Alarum* has become one of the ten most-watched films worldwide on Prime Video, despite receiving a 0% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. Its streaming success contrasts with the harsh reviews and highlights how a poorly rated film can still attract a large audience.

The film stars Scott Eastwood and Willa Fitzgerald as former rival agents who go rogue, marry and live off the grid before a sought-after hard drive draws them back into danger. Mike Colter also appears; Alexander Vesha wrote the story and Michael Polish directed it. The article places the film’s popularity alongside Stallone’s stronger recent profile from *Tulsa King*, whose fourth season has an 86% critics’ rating.
