One Of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars Just Auditioned For James Bond

Robert Pattinson has screen-tested for the next James Bond film, adding a major Hollywood name to the race for the role. His reported involvement is notable because Bond has often been a star-making part for less established actors, while Pattinson is already known for both acclaimed films and blockbusters.

Pattinson reportedly tested during the week of 24 October, and the news emerged about two weeks later. Nicholas Hoult also tested, joining previously reported candidates Callum Turner, Jack Lowden and Josh O’Connor; an earlier claim that Turner had been cast remains unconfirmed. Amazon has not commented, and the film has no release date; director Denis Villeneuve is also working on Dune: Part 3.
