Grand Theft Auto 6 Physical Copies Are Officially in the Wild

Retail shipments of Grand Theft Auto 6’s code-in-box editions have begun arriving, giving fans a first look at the packaging ahead of the game’s release. The boxes reaching shops make the long-awaited launch feel more tangible, although they do not contain a disc.

MediaMarkt stores in Germany shared images of the edition and its pre-order poster. The box shows Jason, Lucia and Leonida, along with labels for online support and in-game purchases; the online support may refer to mini-game leaderboards rather than GTA Online. Digital preloads for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X begin on 10 November, while code-in-box buyers can preload from Thursday; the game is due out on 19 November.
