Nigel Farage launches WW1 film and says one thing would have stopped Hitler and WW2
Nigel Farage is presenting a personal documentary about the First World War, touring battlefields and reflecting on the suffering and bravery of those who fought. He says the film is non-political and argues that Britain should have continued fighting for six more weeks, a claim he links to the possibility of preventing Hitler’s rise and the Second World War.
Farage says Nazism gained support from former German soldiers who believed politicians had betrayed them and that the German army had not been defeated. He acknowledges that extending the war would have brought terrible costs. The documentary, *We Will Remember Them*, is due to appear on his YouTube channel on Sunday at 5pm; his former school records 534 of its pupils died in the war.
