Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’ Is Officially Changing Its Winning Formula

Landman will break its November release pattern in 2026, as its third season will not arrive this month. Production began in Fort Worth on 1 October, leaving too little time for a November launch; the delay matters because the show had premiered in November in both 2024 and 2025.

The series follows the people of M-Tex Oil in West Texas, including Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton. Season 1 ended with Tommy becoming company president amid a cartel threat, while Season 2 shifted control of M-Tex to Cami and followed Tommy’s family and work life. The article gives no confirmed release date for Season 3.
