Rosalía celebrates one year of ‘Lux’ with 1,000-song playlist and anniversary box set
Rosalía has marked the first anniversary of her album ‘Lux’ with a 1,000-song playlist and a limited-edition box set. In a Substack post, she described the year around the album as difficult but deeply meaningful, and reflected on whether she would make a record like it again.
The playlist gathers music she listened to while conceiving, recording and performing ‘Lux’, with artists including Patti Smith, The Cure, Queen, Kate Bush, Nina Simone and Caetano Veloso. The box set includes the album on etched vinyl, alternate artwork, a lyric booklet, a handkerchief and an embossed heart; it is available to pre-order for £125. The album was released on 7 November 2025 and later featured in a world tour of 57 concerts across 17 countries and three continents.
