This is the epic setlist and all the surprise guests from Sepultura’s emotional final show
Sepultura closed their career with a farewell concert at São Paulo’s Suhai Music Hall on 7 November, performing a 30-song set before a crowd at the 9,000-capacity venue. The show brought together the band’s current line-up and several former colleagues and guest musicians, while revisiting songs that had not been played live for years.
Former guitarist Jairo Guedz joined for three early tracks, including “Troops of Doom”, and Ratos de Porão’s João Gordo joined “Reza” before his band appeared for two of its own songs. Other guests included musicians from Chained Saint, Eminence, Krisiun and Torture Squad, as well as Andreas Kisser’s son Yohan. “Itsári”, last performed in 1998, was among the rarities; former singer Max Cavalera and drummer Iggor Cavalera did not appear after declining an invitation.
