America’s favorite Christmas markets revealed, and one in NYC wins by a mile

It averaged 165,232 searches a month, more than twice the figure for any other market and more than the next three combined, highlighting the market’s strong online appeal.
The study, by Mahjong 4 Friends, put Chicago’s Christkindlmarket second with 70,681 monthly searches, followed by Philadelphia with 41,453 and Denver with 38,388. Seattle ranked fifth at 31,850, while Washington, DC’s Downtown Holiday Market came sixth with 29,730. Bryant Park’s draw includes free admission, an ice-skating rink and 35 food vendors; the study’s president said tradition and German-style branding may help attract interest.
