Crunchyroll and Aniplex announced at Anime Expo 2026 that the next instalment of the wildly popular Solo Leveling franchise will be released as a theatrical film rather than continuing as a television series. The film, titled "Solo Leveling: Beyond the System," represents a shift in format for the anime adaptation of the hit Korean webtoon and novel.

Currently in production, the movie will pick up directly from where Season 2 concluded, continuing the story of the protagonist's journey. The studios have maintained secrecy around additional plot details, leaving audiences to anticipate what developments await in the theatrical release.
