Inpatient is the collaborative project uniting Welsh singer-songwriter Ren (Ren Gill), American rapper Chris Webby and producer JP On Da Track. Trailed by Webby as an “#Inpatient rollout” that kicked off in April 2026, it plays less like a conventional album than a rolling collection of singles that refuses to sit still.

Across the run so far – “Down The Road”, “Caskets”, “Madhouse” and “Tarantula” among them – the trio leap between ska, drum & bass and raw singer-songwriter balladry, with Webby’s rapid-fire delivery threaded through Ren’s theatrical melodies. “Madhouse” is the clearest statement of intent: a swaggering, 1920s-cartoon swing beat wrapped around a lyric about hitting breaking point and leaning into the chaos.
