This OutKick "Screencaps" column offers an opinion-driven, satirical reaction to Team USA's heavy defeat by Belgium in a football match played in Seattle, which the author brands one of the most embarrassing performances in US sporting history. The piece matters chiefly as commentary on the poor state of American men's football ahead of a home World Cup, using mockery of the players and the wider "travel soccer" culture rather than detailed match analysis.
The writer notes that Belgium, a nation of around 12 million people (compared to Ohio), comprehensively beat the US, with Belgian players reportedly performing Donald Trump's signature dance after a fourth goal. He singles out 38-year-old defender Tim Ream for criticism and cites a poll in which 78% of respondents believed the Cleveland Browns would win a Super Bowl before Team USA won a World Cup within 50 years. The headline also references unrelated items promised elsewhere in the column, including a Taylor Swift–Travis Kelce napkin for sale and a "Dart boat party".
- Belgium heavily beat Team USA in Seattle, prompting fierce mockery.
- Poll: 78% think the Browns win a Super Bowl before USA win a World Cup.
- Belgian players reportedly celebrated with Trump's signature dance.
