CBS has announced the houseguests competing in Big Brother's 28th season, unveiling 14 players selected for the competition starting July 9. The season incorporates a 'Time Trip' concept that themes different house areas after past decades, including the 1980s and Y2K era. Viewers will access live feeds through Paramount+, Pluto, and YouTube—representing the first occasion the network has offered streaming through that platform.

The cast encompasses a wide age span and occupational diversity, ranging from a 22-year-old dental assistant to a 57-year-old boutique owner, with participants working in fields including combat sports, law, rocket science, and performance. Among the publicly announced competitors are Jason De Puy, recognised from 'RuPaul's Drag Race', and professional fighter Kamuela Kirk, whilst two additional houseguests have not yet been disclosed.
