Arc Raiders introduces separate Solo, Duo and Trio tracking so you can be friendly in one and a rat in the others
Arc Raiders has rolled out separate behaviour tracking for each matchmaking pool, allowing players to maintain distinct playstyle profiles based on squad size. The feature enables players to approach solo missions cooperatively whilst adopting more aggressive strategies when grouped with friends, rather than being locked into a single behavioural designation across all play modes.
The update follows earlier refinements to the game's aggression-based matchmaking system, which pairs players with similar playstyles to create balanced matches. Recent improvements addressed false penalties for defensive play and reduced the outsized impact of low-engagement matches on player ratings, making the system more reliable before implementing this multi-profile separation.
- Arc Raiders now tracks player behaviour separately for Solo, Duo, and Trio modes instead of combining all profiles
- Players can adjust their playstyle—cooperative or aggressive—depending on squad size without affecting their overall matchmaking rating
