Ubisoft has announced that its 2023 open-world racer The Crew Motorfest will arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 on 8th October 2026. The third instalment in The Crew series is set in Hawaii and has been well received elsewhere, earning an 8/10 in PushSquare's review, where it was praised for its handling, variety of activities and O'ahu setting and described as the best entry in the series to date.

The Switch 2 edition will be available both digitally and physically, with the physical release using a Game-Key Card rather than a full cartridge. As with the PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions, the game requires an online connection to play, making it less suited to portable use away from a reliable connection — a point that drew considerable comment, alongside references to Ubisoft shutting down the servers for the original The Crew in 2024. One commenter noted that Ubisoft has confirmed it is working on an offline mode for the game.
