Say hello to Claude Wrapped
Anthropic has launched a "reflect" feature, dubbed a "reflection dashboard," for its Claude chatbot, joining a wave of Spotify Wrapped-style lookback tools that have spread across apps from YouTube to Uber. Announced on Thursday, the feature lets users see an analysis of their Claude usage over the past month, three months, six months or year, and it matters as an example of AI firms encouraging users to examine and shape their habits rather than simply use the product more.
The dashboard summarises a person's key topics, the types of tasks they delegate and their usage patterns, including peak times, and it allows users to set "quiet hours" or break reminders, with a total-time-spent metric said to be coming soon. In keeping with Anthropic's marketing of Claude as an "AI collaborator" that supports deeper thinking, it periodically poses reflective prompts such as what a user might want to keep doing themselves, then offers to discuss the answer with Claude. On privacy, Anthropic said the tool will not pull from files in connected accounts, incognito chats or health-integration conversations, though sensitive topics may still appear at a high level; the feature is in beta for free, Pro and Max users who have memory switched on, is reached via Settings on the web or desktop app, and will come to Claude Cowork soon.
