FL Studio 2026 is available now

DJ Mag · 2 months ago

Image-Line has released FL Studio 2026, the latest version of its widely used digital audio workstation, offered as a free update to all existing users. The release focuses on reducing friction in the creative process, combining a range of workflow refinements with several new creative tools aimed at making music production more accessible.

Key additions include an upgraded Chord Panel, Audio Clip Gain Controls, in-app Stem Separation and a new plug-in called Transmitter, which splits audio into independent transient and sustain components. The FLEX plug-in has been rebuilt with a new engine and eight free sound packs, while all projects now benefit from automated cloud backup and an always-listening Audio Logger. The update also expands the Gopher workflow assistant, which can answer technical questions in a user's preferred language and handle tasks such as organising tracks and generating content in the Piano Roll; Image-Line stresses that Gopher does not train on user data. CEO Constantin Koehncke said the aim was to "help more people make more music".
