Banks plans to watch the season premiere from his home in North Carolina instead of competing for the $750,000 grand prize. The 90-minute premiere episode airs Thursday, and Banks indicated enthusiasm for following the competition as a viewer. His replacement, Yash Patel, will take his spot among the Season 28 houseguests.
