BTS have announced that their immersive "BTS The City ARIRANG" experience will come to New York City, running from 24 July through 3 August 2026. The traveling project, which has previously appeared in Seoul, Las Vegas, Busan and London, is timed to coincide with the group's world tour supporting their ARIRANG album and is intended to extend the concert experience across the city for fans, known as ARMY.

The New York edition will feature attractions at multiple venues, including the Korean Cultural Center New York, where fans can customise their light sticks and visit a Samsung Galaxy Experience booth with limited-edition merchandise, and Grand Central Terminal, where "THE CITY" banners will be displayed and fans can customise T-shirts. Other offerings include a display of stage outfits from the group's "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" concerts at Wembley Stadium, a citywide stamp rally at Bank of Hope, dance events, and tie-ins with local businesses such as Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and Kim's Kimbap. The activity accompanies BTS's concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on 1 and 2 August, with some further details still to be announced.
