See Charli XCX Debut ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ Songs at Brooklyn Gig
Charli XCX performed an intimate concert at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday, featuring multiple debut performances from her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film. The singer opened with three previously unreleased tracks—"Playboy Bunny," "SS26," and "Camera"—marking their first live outings.
The evening included collaborations with opening act Underscores, who joined for "Music," whilst Kim Petras performed "Jeep" and Clairo rendered "Sofia." Shifting away from her recent Brat era cycle, XCX concentrated on material from her new album and unreleased material, closing with "Wink Wink" and "Rock Music." She has upcoming festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Reading and Leeds before launching the Music, Fashion, Film Tour in September, with the album arriving July 24.
