Queens of the Stone Age return with Easy Street and December tour

Queens of the Stone Age have returned with a new single, ‘Easy Street’, and announced a December 2026 tour of Australia and New Zealand. The release is the band’s first new music since their 2023 album In Times New Roman, and the accompanying tour gives fans in the region the first chance to see a new stage show at the end of the year. The announcement matters because it combines a fresh release with a sizeable international run, underlining that the band remains active both in the studio and on the road.
‘Easy Street’, released via Matador Records and Remote Control Records, features vocals from Nikki Lane and a music video directed by Tony Wolski and Christopher Gruse from an idea by frontman Josh Homme. Homme said the song was recorded in a deliberately rough, imperfect style, with tempo shifts and mistakes left in to preserve a human feel. The tour covers seven cities from 8 to 20 December, beginning in Adelaide and ending in Auckland, with stops in Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane; special guests are Primus and Tropical F*ck Storm, and general ticket sales begin on Monday 20 July at 11am.
