Kevin Hart’s Ice-Bath Interview Show ‘Cold as Balls’ to Debut New Episodes on Netflix (EXCLUSIVE)
Kevin Hart’s sports-comedy interview series “Cold as Balls” is getting six new episodes on Netflix later this summer, marking a new distribution home for the long-running show. The series features Hart interviewing high-profile athletes while both sit in ice baths, using the discomfort as a comic device to prompt more spontaneous conversations. The move matters because it brings an established digital-format franchise to a major global streaming platform, potentially expanding its audience significantly.
The new episodes will be filmed live at Fanatics Fest in New York this week and will feature Serena Williams, Rob Gronkowski, Cooper Flagg, Sean O’Malley, Zlatan Ibrahimović and IShowSpeed. “Cold as Balls” first launched in 2017 and, according to the producers, has now run for 12 going on 13 seasons and more than 100 episodes, with past guests including Tom Brady, Kelsey Plum and Blake Griffin. The show is co-created by Michael D. Ratner and Sean Spencer, produced by OBB in association with Hartbeat, and continues with Ratner directing and serving as showrunner alongside Kfir Goldberg.
