Variety · 2 months ago

NBC Sports and the Premier League have launched "Find Your Match", an interactive quiz aimed at converting the surge of interest in this summer's FIFA World Cup into lasting engagement with the Premier League's return for the 2026-2027 season. The initiative capitalises on strong World Cup viewership on Telemundo and Peacock, with NBC Sports executives citing data showing that newly converted soccer fans want to sustain their interest once the tournament ends.

The 11-question quiz matches fans with one of the Premier League's 20 clubs based on personality and cultural preferences, after which NBC and the league will send participants viewing information for the new season, which airs across NBC, Peacock and Versant's USA Network. The campaign leans on the fact that 182 Premier League players, including Erling Haaland, featured at the World Cup, and it debuted this week at Fanatics Fest NYC (16-19 July) before rolling out on NBCSports.com, PremierLeague.com and the Premier League app; entrants are also eligible to win a trip to the UK to watch their matched club play.
