McDonald’s newest menu item has fans begging for one discontinued favorite
McDonald's is launching a new Caesar sauce across its US restaurants, but the announcement has instead sparked calls from customers for the return of a discontinued menu favourite: salads. The fast-food chain pulled salads from its menu some time ago, and the arrival of a new condiment aimed at chicken items has reignited fan frustration that a proper leafy option is still missing.
The Illinois-based chain confirmed that, from 21 July and for a limited time, participating restaurants nationwide will serve McDonald's Caesar Sauce, described as a creamy, garlicky Parmesan blend with hints of lemon. It has been created to complement the chain's chicken items as part of a summer menu refresh, though the company has not indicated any plans to bring back salads alongside it.
