Echo & the Bunnymen have announced their first studio album in over a decade, Apples for Isaac, due out on 18th September, alongside the lead single "Brussels Is Haunted." The release matters to fans of the veteran UK rock band as it follows 2014's Meteorites and carries added poignancy: it features contributions on nearly every track from the late Blondie drummer Clem Burke, who died during its recording.

The band paid tribute to Burke, calling him "integral to the making of this album" and a longtime friend of frontman Ian McCulloch. The 11-track record includes songs such as "Take Me By the Hand," "The Honey" and closer "We Prayed in the Dark," with pre-orders already open. Echo & the Bunnymen, coming off a spring North American tour, are set to play summer festivals and headline dates across the UK and Europe later this year.
