Helium Comedy has established a new Original Content, Development & Production division designed to identify and develop entertainment concepts across its network of comedy clubs. The division will focus on creating original formats, developing creator-driven projects, adapting podcasts for live stage, producing touring shows, and building digital content franchises. The initiative represents Helium's response to changing entertainment consumption patterns where performers now work across multiple platforms simultaneously.

Maureen Taran, an entertainment executive with over 25 years of industry experience, will lead the new division. She most recently served as Vice President of Talent at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she managed talent strategy for cable networks including truTV, TBS and TNT. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions at entertainment companies where she worked with prominent comedians, giving her expertise in identifying and nurturing entertainment talent across various media platforms.
