Through these connections, users can request the AI to generate music playlists, create visual designs for events, and populate shopping lists—all without leaving the search interface. The system draws on information from users' calendars and app histories to tailor its suggestions.

This move is part of Google's ongoing effort to weave AI capabilities into everyday digital workflows rather than confining them to a dedicated application. The rollout follows earlier 2026 updates that brought Personal Intelligence functionality to search, enabling the AI to consult sources like Reddit and process diverse input formats including photographs and web pages. Google has indicated that additional app partnerships are under development.
