The Imagen Foundation announced nominations for its 41st annual ceremony, with the Apple TV series 'Acapulco' securing the most nominations at 13. The foundation will also honour actor and filmmaker Andy Garcia with a lifetime achievement award, whilst the show's creators receive a creative achievement honour. Additionally, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis will receive the president's award in recognition of her work advancing Latino community opportunity and representation.

Foundation leadership used the announcement to highlight a significant concern: the absence of submissions for major film categories including director and lead acting roles. President Helen Hernandez stated this gap underscores persistent underrepresentation of Latino talent in mainstream media, despite Latinos constituting a $3 trillion consumer market. The 41st ceremony will feature 25 total award categories and take place on 21 August at The Beverly Hilton.
