Chloe Fineman is leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons, marking the first cast departure since Season 51 concluded. The impressionist, known for her celebrity impersonations and viral sketches, said it was "really hard" to leave but felt it was "the right time," and is now in negotiations to join Netflix's drama series Myron Bolitar, based on Harlan Coben's novels.

Fineman joined SNL as a featured player at the start of the pandemic-disrupted 2019-20 season and rose to prominence through remote, made-at-home segments during lockdown. She became known for impressions of stars including Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, plus viral sketches such as Snack Homiez and the Domingo franchise. She would join Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero on the Netflix series, and announced her exit publicly on Instagram, thanking SNL boss Lorne Michaels and calling her time on the show "the greatest privilege of my life."
