Pro Jank Footy Release Date Confirmed, Arrives August
Pro Jank Footy, an arcade-style Australian Rules Football game from Adelaide developers Powerbomb Games and Tinker Town, will launch on 13 August 2026. Inspired by NBA Jam and NHL ’94, it deliberately favours exaggerated, chaotic gameplay over realism, aiming to appeal both to football fans and people unfamiliar with the sport.
Matches can include unusual power-ups such as extra players, a third team, brick walls in goals, portals, cars and players turning into footballs. The game is led by Danger 5 co-creator David Ashby, features commentary from Aunty Donna’s Broden Kelly, and has a launch trailer by animator Michael Cusack; it will support solo, local multiplayer and online play on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
