Nintendo Life · 4 hours ago

Mattel and Milestone have revealed Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, an open-world racing title heading to Nintendo Switch 2 and multiple other platforms. The game has been rescheduled to release on 10th September 2026, moved forward from its originally announced 24th September date. Players will explore four distinct islands whilst engaging in traditional races, free-roam exploration, and a variety of gameplay activities that build upon the formula established by Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 in 2023.

The game offers a collection of over 150 vehicles split across four performance classes, with official Ferrari licences included alongside Hot Wheels' traditional designs. Multiplayer support extends to four players simultaneously via split-screen mode with cross-platform compatibility, whilst solo players gain access to customisation tools for vehicle liveries, wheels, and track design. An enhanced track builder allows players to populate their creations with artificial opponents, providing additional replayability alongside the game's core campaign content.
