Leon Bridges unveils new album Happiness Anytime

Texas soul singer Leon Bridges has announced his new album 'Happiness Anytime', due for release on 25 September. He revealed the news while performing two nights at London's Jazz Cafe, using the UK trip as a platform to unveil the project alongside details of its sound and production.
The 12-track record was overseen by Bridges with production assistance from Jungle's J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto, drawing on influences including Fela Kuti, Jorge Ben and the soulful style of his debut 'Coming Home'. It will be released in three four-track instalments, with the first EP already out, featuring the songs 'Light The Way', 'Tears of Joy', 'Illusion' and 'Your Love Is Electric'.

Leon Bridges is an American singer and songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas, known for music influenced by soul, R&B and gospel. He first gained wide attention with his 2015 debut album Coming Home, whose vintage soul sound drew comparisons with earlier generations of singers.
Since then, Bridges has moved between retro-inspired soul and more contemporary R&B, working with a range of artists while building an international audience. His albums often explore relationships, identity, faith and his experiences growing up in Texas.
