Twenty One Pilots announced the return of their Mexico City concert experience through a streaming event and complementary album release. Captured in front of 65,000 fans at Estadio GNP Seguros during their recent world tour, the IMAX film will debut on streaming platforms August 8 with an accompanying live watch party that includes interactive features and a post-screening discussion with frontman Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun. The concert footage, which had its theatrical debut earlier this year, will remain available for individual purchase through late August.
The band is releasing a corresponding live concert album on August 7 across streaming services and in physical formats ranging from standard CD and vinyl to a premium hardcover photobook edition with expanded photography and artwork. The group continues performing at international music festivals through the remainder of the year, with the October 17 Columbus homecoming concert at Ohio Stadium alongside Death Cab For Cutie marking their most ambitious U.S. headline show yet.

Explained simply
Twenty One Pilots are an American rock band who have become one of the biggest names in contemporary alternative music since their rise to prominence in the early 2010s. They are known for their energetic live performances and genre-blending approach that mixes rock, electronic and hip-hop elements.
The band recently performed at a major stadium concert in Mexico City in front of 65,000 fans, which was filmed using IMAX format. Earlier this year, portions of this footage were released in cinemas, allowing viewers to experience the scale and spectacle of the performance on the largest screens available.
The band is now making the full concert film available online alongside a live album release, enabling fans worldwide to access the performance. This follows the earlier cinema release and allows the band to share the Mexico City concert with their global audience.
