Aspyr has released a new update for Rise of the Tomb Raider on Nintendo Switch 2, aimed at fixing performance issues, crashes and visual glitches across the game. Version 1.0.2 is available to download now, and the studio recommends players update as soon as possible. Nintendo Life previously awarded the game 8/10, praising its exploration and visuals despite some criticism of its story and controls.

The patch addresses numerous frame rate drops in areas including the Siberian Wilderness, Geothermal Valley and Village map, along with stuttering during several cutscenes. It also fixes a client-side crash in the Endurance multiplayer mode, an exploit affecting XP rewards in the Soviet Installation, and a range of visual bugs such as disappearing textures, floating objects and clipping issues across multiple locations in the game.
