Benny Blanco has shared a TikTok video showing himself crossing the Atlantic Ocean by boat rather than plane in order to see his wife, Selena Gomez, who is currently in London filming the sixth series of Only Murders in the Building. The music producer, who has spoken openly about his fear of flying, framed the journey as a romantic gesture ahead of Gomez's 34th birthday on 22 July.

The video, captioned "the things we do for love" and set to Sam Cooke's 1962 track "Nothing Can Change This Love," shows Blanco gazing out at the ocean during the crossing, which typically takes a week or more. He previously revealed in an April TikTok that he had not flown in around a decade, recalling that his last transatlantic trip was with Ed Sheeran while working on Sheeran's 2017 album Divide, and referencing his own 2026 self-help book about overcoming fear. Blanco is also preparing to release his Spanish-language album Hermoso on 14 August.
