Reigning Phoenix Music and Hasbro have announced that former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach will appear at "The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Celebration Of Life Concert", a live show marking the 40th anniversary of the 1986 animated film. The event forms part of Hasbro's tongue-in-cheek "Apology Tour", a year-long campaign referencing fans' enduring feelings about the film's darker moments, and is being held during San Diego Comic-Con week.

The concert takes place on Thursday 23 July 2026 at the House Of Blues in San Diego, with doors at 7pm and the show starting at 8pm; general admission tickets cost $50 and VIP packages $100, plus service charges. Music will be performed live by Knights Of Unicron, drawing on "The Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition", with additional appearances from Stan Bush and Vince DiCola, alongside sets from Cold Slither and Jem And The Holograms featuring original singer Britta Phillips.
