The artist made a dramatic entrance through a stage doorway to perform the duet, which originally charted at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 when the album launched. Following the rendition, Ty Dolla $ign expressed his appreciation for Grande and subsequently hinted at further musical collaboration through social media.

The performance marks a highlight of Grande's Eternal Sunshine tour, her first major concert series since 2019, which centres on material from her latest seventh studio album whilst incorporating selections from her back catalogue. After completing two remaining Brooklyn shows at Barclays Center, she will travel to Boston for an additional three-night engagement at TD Garden to extend the tour's reach beyond New York.
