13 Years Later, Prime Video’s Twisty Mystery Thriller Hits Harder Than Ever

Now You See Me, a 2013 heist mystery about four magicians who use their skills to carry out robberies, is streaming on Prime Video. The article argues that its blend of stage magic, crime and a series of reveals still makes it an engaging watch.

The Four Horsemen are pursued by FBI agent Dylan Rhodes, who seeks help from magic debunker Thaddeus Bradley. The film’s practical tricks and finale encourage viewers to revisit it for clues; although critics panned it, it became a box-office success and led to two sequels. A fourth instalment is also in development.
