Los Angeles group 16 Underground have released “Angel (On The Run)”, the third preview from their forthcoming EP, Without A Trace. The track continues the band’s revival of 1990s-style trip-hop, combining dreamy melodies with a slow, melancholic groove, and adds momentum ahead of the EP’s release.

The new single means three of the EP’s five tracks, or 60%, are now available. Stereogum compares its atmosphere to the Sneaker Pimps’ era of trip-hop and suggests it may appeal to listeners of the Marías’ “No One Noticed”; Without A Trace is due on 14 August via Sunday Drive.
