19 Years Later, Marvel’s New Doctor Doom Is Officially Conquering Streaming With a 10/10 Thriller

Robert Downey Jr’s 2007 crime thriller *Zodiac* has entered the ten most-streamed films on HBO Max in the US, nearly two decades after its release. The renewed interest comes as Marvel fans anticipate his return to the screen as Doctor Doom in *Avengers: Doomsday*, due in cinemas on 18 December.

Directed by David Fincher, *Zodiac* follows the investigation into the Zodiac killer and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo alongside Downey Jr. The film received critical acclaim and competed for the Palme d’Or at Cannes, but earned $83 million worldwide against a reported $85 million budget and received no Academy Award nominations.
