2026’s New Horror Hit Surges on Prime Video

Collider · 3 hours ago

A new horror film, Do Not Enter, has become a viral streaming hit on Prime Video, marking the latest instalment in a strong year for the genre. Directed by music video veteran Marc Klasfeld, the film has been embraced by Gen Z audiences in the same way as Focus Features' Obsession, which dominated cinemas earlier in 2026 and became the highest-grossing original horror film of the century.

Do Not Enter follows four social media personalities who break into New Jersey's abandoned Paragon Hotel to livestream a stunt worth a rumoured $300 million, only for paranormal activity to derail their plans. The ensemble cast is led by Adeline Rudolph, best known as Kitana in Mortal Kombat II, alongside Laurence O'Fuarain, Nicholas Hamilton, Jake Manley, Brennan Keel Cook, Catrina Shank and Francesca Reale. Its rise follows Obsession's record-breaking cinema run, and more horror is on the way with Anne Hathaway's dinosaur survival film The End of Oak Street due next month.
