3 One-Hit Wonders From the 1990s With Addictive Music Videos We Forgot Existed

The article recalls three 1990s hit songs whose music videos remain memorable for their distinctive visuals: Blind Melon’s “No Rain”, Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” and a third track whose band and title are not identified in the supplied text. It argues that the videos’ unusual, energetic imagery helped make them hard to look away from during the MTV and VH1 era.

Blind Melon’s video centres on a tap-dancing “bee girl” who faces ridicule before the band appears. Aqua’s 1997 video creates a colourful, toy-like Barbie fantasy world, while the final video is described as fast-moving and full of characters, settings and a triumphant-sounding trumpet; the article gives no further identifying details about that song.
