Such guides matter to players aiming for full completion of the remastered campaign, as the mission's dark setting makes collectables notably difficult to spot without directions.

The Fog skull is found on rocks near a tree shortly after leaving the crashed pelican at the mission's start, disabling the motion tracker when collected. The "That's Just… Wrong" skull is dropped by a paranoid marine encountered deeper in the structure and increases enemy awareness. The Tangent II terminal lies through a side doorway near dead marines during the escape sequence from the Flood, while the "They Come Back" skull, which makes reanimated Flood combat forms more dangerous, is hidden along a fallen tree in the forest near the evacuation point.
