4 ‘Game of Thrones’ Icons Are Officially Back From the Dead for New ‘House of the Dragon’ Release
Game of Thrones: Legends will launch a limited-time event based on the Battle of Rook’s Rest, a pivotal tragedy from George R. R. Martin’s Fire & Blood. The release gives fans a new way to engage with House of the Dragon’s conflict while they await the show’s fourth and final season.
The Assault on Rook’s Rest runs from 20 August at 4 a.m. ET until 24 August at 2 a.m. ET. Its associated summon period features four Legendary Champions: Oberyn Martell, Sunfyre, Tywin Lannister and Gregor Clegane; the event follows a divisive House of the Dragon season three finale, with season four expected in 2028.
