Four people were killed and four wounded in a shooting in Green Hill, near Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines, on Friday night. The attack has prompted increased police patrols and searches as authorities investigate the killings and their possible connection to wider gun and gang violence.

Police said the shooting occurred shortly before 10.30pm, with victims found on a road, inside a vehicle and on nearby land. Two wounded people were discharged from hospital and two remained there; no arrests or motive had been announced, while officials said 37 murders had been recorded nationally this year.
