4 Soft Rock Songs That Deserve a Spot on Your Halloween Playlist
The article recommends four additions to Halloween playlists for listeners tired of familiar choices such as Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon” and “Don’t Fear The Reaper”. It argues that these softer, moodier tracks offer a less predictable mix while retaining an eerie atmosphere.
The selections are Fleetwood Mac’s “Sisters Of The Moon” from 1979’s *Tusk*, The Alan Parsons Project’s 1976 Poe-inspired “The Raven”, The Doors’ “Ghost Song” from *An American Prayer*, and Classics IV’s 1967 recording of “Spooky”. Dusty Springfield’s version of “Spooky” receives an honourable mention.
