50 Cent has said he, Eminem and the late Tupac Shakur have recorded a track for the forthcoming live-action Street Fighter film. He said Tupac’s estate supplied the vocals and approved the finished song, stressing that artificial intelligence was not used; the collaboration would be a notable posthumous use of Shakur’s recorded material.

The rapper revealed the project during a television interview on 24 July, but no song title or release date has been announced. 50 Cent, who plays Balrog in the film, had previously indicated he hoped to involve Eminem; Street Fighter is due in cinemas on 16 October and is directed by Kitao Sakurai.
