50 Cent says he has recorded a new Street Fighter theme song featuring Eminem and previously unreleased vocals from the late rapper 2Pac. The announcement matters because it would reunite 50 Cent with Eminem while adding an authorised posthumous 2Pac contribution to a major film soundtrack.

Speaking on Today With Jenna and Sheinelle on 24 July, 50 Cent said 2Pac’s estate approved the use of the vocals and stressed that they were not generated by AI. He said the track would be released shortly; Street Fighter is due in US cinemas on 16 October, with 50 Cent playing Balrog alongside a cast including Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Orville Peck and Roman Reigns.
