‘9-1-1’ Is Officially About to Go On Hiatus

ABC’s ‘9-1-1’ and ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ will take a break as the holiday season approaches, then return on Thursday 7 January 2027. The pause follows a strong start for both series and is part of the usual scheduling pattern for autumn shows.

The first episode of ‘9-1-1’ season 10 drew 8.14 million viewers across seven days, up from last season’s average of 7.82 million. ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ drew 6.76 million for its latest premiere, above its previous season average of 6.72 million; before the break, ‘9-1-1’ episode five sees Athena investigate a suspicious death while the 118 responds to a woodchipper emergency.
