Blabbermouth has reviewed "A Beast To Praise" (rated 7/10), the new live album from Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral. Recorded at Fållan in Stockholm on 16 April 2022, it caps the touring cycle for their 2022 studio album "We Are The Apocalypse" and marks the band's first live release since 2004's "De Profundis Clamavi Ad Te Domine". The review credits Dark Funeral's willingness to tour widely with making them a formidable live act, though notes the record's energy dips somewhat in the middle of the set.

The 13-track album spans the band's career, opening with "Unchain My Soul" and "The Arrival Of Satan's Empire" before closing with "The Secrets Of The Black Arts" (from their 1996 debut) and "Where Shadows Forever Reign" (title track of their 2016 LP).
